Our story
Born in Western Mongolia
Sayat Travel is a local tour operator based in Bayan-Ölgii, in the heart of Mongolia’s Altai. Our founder, Yerlan Shakhabai, grew up in a nomadic family in these mountains. Together with co-founder Nazyerke Kukyebai, he builds journeys around the people, land and traditions he knows firsthand.
